Hi everyone it is me, Courtney! I wanted to create this blog to share information and fun announcements that might come along! There is so much chaos to life that a little guide, that isn’t on a Facebook post (sorry Facebook), can go a long way when it comes to making booking much easier and less painful. So today I will be talking about the process of booking and what to expect!
Pre-Consultation: Let's Chat!
Before we book your session, we’ll schedule a quick phone call or video chat—or even meet in person if you prefer.
This is where I get to know you—your style, personality, and what you're envisioning for your senior photos.
We’ll talk about:
The vibe you're going for (outdoorsy, urban, classic, artistic—whatever fits you!)
Possible locations, whether it be outdoors or in the studio!
Outfit ideas, nothing is not worthy of being a choice!
Hair and makeup tips
What to bring, and what to expect, always bring a person(s) other than you! I love to jam to help relax and set the vibes so don’t forget your go-to playlist!
Pro-tip: Pinterest is your best friend! I am more than happy to collaborate on a board and see what your dream session consists of! So bring on the Pins!
It’s also a great time to go over packages, products, and answer any questions you or your parents might have!
Booking & Agreement
Once we've got the details:
We’ll pick a session date that works best for you (I recommend booking early—especially during busy seasons!).
I’ll send over a digital agreement outlining what’s included and how everything works.
A non-refundable retainer is due to lock in your date.
After that, you’re officially booked! I also offer payment plans and multiple ways to pay, which is discussed during your pre-consultation!
Your Session Day: Time to Shine!
This is where the fun happens! We'll:
Meet at the chosen location and spend 60-180 minutes capturing a mix of posed and candid shots that truly reflect who you are! Time will reflect which package you choose!
I’ll guide you through natural poses and keep the vibe relaxed and upbeat. Suggestions are always welcome, the goal is to create what your dream session is!
Outfit changes based on your session of choice as well!
Post-Session Consultation (Image Reveal & Ordering)
About 1–2 weeks after your session, we’ll meet again (in person or online) for your Image Reveal & Ordering Session.
I’ll show you a curated selection of the best images—lightly edited proofs so you can visualize the final look.
Together, we’ll:
Choose your favorites
Design any custom products (albums, wall art, etc.)
Finalize your order
There’s no pressure—just my guidance to help you select what’s perfect for you and your family!
Final Delivery: Your Keepsakes Arrive
Once your final selections are made:
Digital images will be delivered through an online gallery (0r Thumb Drive).
Any printed products will be professionally printed and beautifully packaged!
Turnaround times vary, but I’ll keep you updated throughout the process!
